Ministry is not everything we do on the spiritual side (Praying, Bible Reading, Discipling, Evangelizing, Worshiping, etc.) it is also being stewards of what is provided to the local body of believers. Being a treasurer is key to maintaining healthy viable ministries. As a church we need to be praying that God moves in the heart of our membership to fill this vital role.
1 Chronicles 26:20 established being a treasurer as a task for the Levites. God indeed established that we should manage finances and steward our resources for the building of HIS kingdom.
Does any of this sound like something God has prepared you for? If so, please pary about serving and especially talk with Charlotte or Roger.
Church – pray that God fills this position as soon as possible. After serving all of these years, Charlottes wants to smoothly transition to having an informed and capable replacement. Let’s honor her commitment by answering Gods’ call and praying for HIS provision in this critical area of Ministry.
